The price was good, but the quality was not, I guess you get what you pay for.

It was posted as a 3 star hotel, but it was not a 3 star. It was not in an ideal location of the city. It was run down and dirty. I was not the best hotel. I will not stay there again.

Nothing at all. It was a disgusting old smelly room. Awful!

Dirty, old, outdated, third-world, hole-in-the wall rooms

The hotel staff was wonderful. The young girl in the office aims to please. I asked for extra towels and she was prompt.

Staff was very friendly and helpful;coffeemaker and hair dryer in room.

Was surprised that with 11am checkout that rooms were still not ready at 5pm, however even though our room was not finished one of the housekeeping staff who was not asigned to our room came and imiately finished it and did all she could to make us comfortable. Got the impression that HJ had recently taken this motel over as sign was still previous name and pool was not ready in august but was being worked on. Transitions can be difficult, perhaps next time will be better.

In town and conviennent, changeover from prior owner is going slow with alot of repairs need to be done. This will be a great place if plans go as indicated.

Improvements should have been in place before the raising of prices. Free breakfast lacks some essential healthy choices.

For the money this was a wonderful hotel. The room is reasonably comfortable. There are no frills. But you atre paying a no frills price. It is a real motel with the rooms opening on the car park. So you get to meet people and can chat with them. Safeways close by. Places to eat close by.

Swimming pool is broken but it will be mended.

The young lady that checked us in went above and beyond the call of duty. Her computers were down she knew the rooms that were available and showed us several rooms before we choose one. Then once the computer were up she brought the registration over to me to sign. The waffles were awesome.

This Howard Johnson Hotel is in the midle of a remodel. I would have liked more- bigger towels and wash clothes. The beds were hard but not totally uncomfortable. The carpet definetly needed to be replaced it was gross.

The continental breakfast was good, and the staff were very hospitable. The facility itself was a bit aged but overall it suited our needs just fine. We arrived late (2am) and not in the best of shape, the check in was easy, fast and conveniant. We were there for the rugby tournament and the hotel was situated very close to the fields and all the ammenities we needed. Casinos everywhere, liquor store right down the street, major store like K mart and lots of cheap places to eat.. Had a good time.

The shower leaked through the wall on to the carpet.

There was mold in the tub, around the toilet and some around the bathroom sink. One of the hotel workers comes up to my fiance with a bottle of liquor in his hand saying, "what's wrong with the room?" after we've only been there for 5 minutes. She had no idea whether there was anything wrong or not, but with someone making a comment like that sort of worried us. Also, there was some hair on the bed.

Absolutly nothing! The person who checked us in didn't sem to know what he was doing. The room was terrible as far as being clean. It smelled horrible for a non smoking room. I will not stay at this motel ever agin and would not recommend it to a living person.

    Its location was decent.

The room was unpleasant with an unpainted section of wall, heavily stained carpets and furniture, broken or missing light fixtures, an incompletely cleaned countertop, and lack of supplies like cups and tissues.
